To ExecuNet supporters, There are changes brewing at Lassiter Consulting, and they are certainly changes in Churchills right direction. After over 12 years of hosting the ExecuNet meetings in the Boston area, Ive passed the baton to Marg Balcom, Principal of MBM Career Management Services, as of the January 2008 meeting. Marg is an ideal choice because she integrates the 3 areas of experience that should be of greatest help to you as you manage your career: the Executive VP of an Executive Search division, a former Vice President of Human Resources at a major corporation, and now as a career consultant with a full time practice. There is no question that she wont be able to answer. I have initiated this transition in order to concentrate more of my time in 3 areas:
Working in less-than-full-time ways is a growing trend that has many choices for those who are prepared. The approaches are embedded in The New Job Security and the market is proving quite receptive. Let me know if youd like to get updates on working more flexibly, pam@lassiterconsulting.com. Another change in the right direction for Boston ExecuNet meetings as of 2008 will be location. The direction is several exits further south on 128/95, exit 21B, Rt 16. Given the rising costs at the DoubleTree and our goal of not raising your costs for attending ExecuNet meetings any more than necessary, the meetings will be moved as of January 2008 to the conference room at Papa Razzi, 16 Washington St, Wellesley, MA 02481. Both the monthly Regional Meetings and the Senior Executive Roundtable meetings will be held on Mondays. The registration link is http://www.execunet.com/e_network.cfm?wt.svl=pn. I truly want to thank you for all of your on-going support and enthusiasm for ExecuNet over the years. Networking is more than a quick hit. Its a way of nurturing others and of growing. Ive seen you do both and both will continue with Marg. Thank you for letting me be on the journey in the right direction with you. Pam
